What is executive coaching?
Executive coaching is a professional relationship between a trained coach and a client (which may be an individual or a group) to improve the client’s professional performance and enhance their personal development.
What is our coaching approach?
Our coaching model is unique in that draws from three schools. First, and foremost, we utilize the Townsend Human Growth Model, which focuses on developing one’s character structure in order to optimize personal and professional competence. Second, we incorporate the Personal Model, which focuses on developing one’s emotional intelligence in order to increase effectiveness at home and at work. And, third, we include aspects of the Insight-Oriented Model, which focuses on addressing the lingering effects of one’s childhood that inhibit present performance.
How is executive coaching different from other kinds of coaching?
Executive coaching is different than other kinds of coaching such as life coaching, business coaching, and career coaching, in that it is specifically geared toward helping C-Suite executives develop their leadership skills, emotional awareness, and relational capacity in order to succeed personally and professionally. Executive coaching is intentionally designed to challenge and grow high capacity leaders in apex roles, helping them to optimize not only their own performance but also the performance of their team and organization.
What are the costs for executive coaching?
The investment in executive coaching is comparable to professional consulting and is usually billed at an hourly rate. That rate depends on whether the organization is a for-profit or not-for-profit as well as the size and scope of the organization. It also depends on the demands and requirements as well as the nature and complexity of the situation. For this reason, our rates are somewhat fluid and are at the discretion of the coach/consultant. Please contact us for a no obligation quote.
How long is a typical executive coaching contract?
The length of the coaching agreement depends on the situation but coaching contracts normally range from 3 months to one year or longer with six months being the standard length. Sometimes executive coaching contracts are extended or renewed as agreed upon between the coach and client.
